The much anticipated launch of the new charity website is finally upon us, as the St George's Police Children Trust launch their new site this week!
Considerable feedback from staff, patients and other police bodies was taken to ensure a website was created that best met the charity’s needs for now and the future.
Some of the sites exciting new features include;
Updated Content and imagery
Information on our new Holiday Home
Detailed History, detailing how the support to police officer's children first began
Online donation mechanism (Just Giving)
Ability to sign up to our newsletter
Responsive in its design (it can be viewed from any device, mobile/ipads etc.)
Nikki Ridgway, PR & Fundraiser at the St George's Police Children Trust, said;
“The new site provides a much simpler structure allowing you to find what you are looking for straight away.
The responsive nature of the design will also allow more users to access the site giving greater flexibility to viewing through different devices. The added features will hopefully provide a clearer insight into the support offered to children and young people through the Trust.
Over 300 children and young people are supported through the Trust every year, with half a million pounds being distributed to police families. It is therefore of great importance to us that we are able to promote and share the work we do. Our new site should hopefully allow more and more families to access information about our work and as a result allow us to support more children in need."
Users of the website will not only benefit from an easier to use site but can also take advantage of some of the fantastic new features that are now available. In particular having access to a new online donation mechanism, will hopefully entice more people to start fundraising and supporting the Charity.
