We try and help ease the financial pressures of bringing up a family when life changing circumstances such as the loss of a police officer parent or an injury or illness means they can no longer work.
Financial support to police officer’s children and young people is provided by the Charity throughout their school years and in many cases, into further education. More than 300 children are supported every year.
Support is of a financial nature and may range from a weekly allowance for each child in the family, support through further and higher education, and ex-gratia grants for necessary activities or items.
While no amount of money can replace a parent, support from the Trust can provide a degree of financial certainty in difficult times.
We now also offer a one week’s respite stay at our holiday home in Harrogate to all new beneficiaries and / or subsequent visits at discounted rates. Our holiday home aims to provide an opportunity for families to come together and escape the recent stresses they might be facing at home. For further information click here.
